The UTS North Sydney 1st were unable to get the better of Hawkesbury 1st with lessons to take away.
We batted first and finished with 5/308 on the board from 50 overs. Timothy Reynolds made a superb 80 off 116 balls, a well-made fifty. Justin Avendano made a great 78 off 56 balls, a well-made fifty. Mac Jenkins made a superb 50 off 31 balls, a well-made fifty.
Hawkesbury 1st knocked off the runs, finishing on 4/309 in 40.2 overs. Hats off to Jack James, whose 124 not out was a stylish century for the visitors. Tom Sargeant passed fifty for our opponents, finishing with 85. The wickets were shared around, with Jamieson Hedges taking two for 41.
There were some fine individual efforts to build on.
We'll go again.
