In NSW Premier Cricket (Men's) action, our UTS North Sydney 1st went under to St George 1st in a disappointing result.
St George 1st's innings ended at 414, ours at 100 and 4/115. Nihal Desai brought up a stylish half-century, finishing with 58 off 57 balls. Jordan Netto contributed 39 off 87 balls. A six-wicket haul to Connor O'Riordan for our opponents (six for 22). Peter Francis finished with four for 42 for the visitors.
Desai returned figures of four for 99 off 25.5 overs. Jaden Sequeira weighed in with three for 71 off seventeen overs. Finley Hill posted a terrific hundred for our opponents, finishing on 109. The visitors' Reiley Mark made a good 100.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one. We're fifth on the ladder at the moment. That's two losses in a row, but the team will keep working hard.
Credit to our opponents, and well played.
