Our UTS North Sydney 2nd had to settle for a loss as they went down to St George 2nd in NSW Premier Cricket (Men's).
St George 2nd's innings closed at 6/296 from 50 overs. Matt Grealy made a fine 85 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century. Joshua Moors made a useful 47 for the visitors. Our best with the ball was Joel Austin, who took two for 19.
In reply, we finished on 226 from 49.2 overs. Seb Linnitt passed fifty on the way to 69 off 100 balls with eight fours. Robert Aitken brought up a polished half-century, finishing with 53 off 64 balls. Patrick Brown returned four for 38 for our opponents.
Credit to the visitors, who played well.
We'll go again.
