Good news from our UTS North Sydney 2nd, who registered a win over Sutherland 2nd.
First up, we made 9/272 from 50 overs. Seb Linnitt led the way with a superb hundred, finishing on 126 off 137 balls. Dilraj Singh made a great 77 off 103 balls, a well-made fifty. Flynn Parker bowled impressively for Sutherland 2nd, a six-wicket haul of six for 66.
Our opponents were all out for 231 in 44.4 overs in reply. Credit to Jared Ball, who made a half-century (55) for the visitors. The wickets were shared around, with Liam Whitaker taking three for 32.
It was a brilliant all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up. Congratulations to the side on an excellent result.
