It was a day to regroup for our UTS North Sydney 2nd, who went under to Sydney University 2nd in a disappointing result.
In terms of totals, it was UTS North Sydney 2nd 140 and 5/182 and Sydney University 2nd 6/148. Fifty for Joel Austin, who finished with 80 off 86 balls. Fifty for Aaryan Dixit, who finished with 66 off 113 balls. Harrison May was the best of our opponents' bowlers, finishing with three for 32.
Liam Whitaker grabbed three for 21. Dixit finished with two for 28. Ryan McElduff made a classy 77 for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century.
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
The group will be keen to bounce back.
