There was plenty to celebrate as our UTS North Sydney 2nd saw off UNSW 2nd for a cracking result.
UNSW 2nd batted first and put 97 on the board from 24.5 overs. Aaron Crofts was the top scorer for our opponents with 25. Jaden Sequeira tore through the batting order, taking five for 36. Luke Austin also took three for 41.
In reply, the side reached the target at 2/99 in 12 overs. Tony Cornwell finished 48 not out off 25 balls. Seb Linnitt was unbeaten on 24 off 22 balls.
It was a brilliant all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up.
Congratulations to the group on a great result.
