UNSW 3rd set the target, making 9/216 from 50 overs. Ilankumaran Murugappan top-scored for the hosts with 49. Our opponents also got 45 from Gus Cassim. James Edwards bowled cleverly for a five-wicket haul, five for 24 off nine overs.
In reply, we finished on 203 from 48.5 overs. Fifty for Aidan Thomas, who finished with 60. Max Palmer weighed in with 45. Benjamin Champion chipped in with 37. For the hosts, Jake Greenberg took four for 34 off six overs.
There are plenty of positives to take out of this one.
Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
