It just wasn't our day: our UTS North Sydney 5th were denied by Penrith 5th with lessons to take away.
With the bat, we made 10/177; Penrith 5th made 205. Thomas Geyer played a polished hand of 38 off 85 balls. Shubh Darji was the main threat for our opponents, taking three for 21.
Rashedul Hasan bowled beautifully to finish with three for 20. Lachlan Hood made 34 for the visitors.
There were some quality individual efforts to build on. Credit to our opponents, and well played.
