Good news from our UTS North Sydney T20, who chalked up a win over Western Suburbs in commanding fashion.
Western Suburbs' innings closed at 6/102 from 20 overs. Credit to Nicholas Cutler, who made 28 for our opponents. With the ball, Jamieson Hedges did the damage, claiming three for 28 off four overs.
In reply, the team reached the target at 2/106 in 12.5 overs. Dave Dubey made an excellent 54 not out off 40 balls, a well-made fifty. Justin Avendano added a useful 27 off 13 balls.
A big win, and a performance to build on.
Thanks to the hosts for the contest.
