Despite a solid effort, our UTS North Sydney W2 had to give best to Parramatta W2 on a frustrating day.
Parramatta W2 set the target, making 7/241 from 50 overs. Credit to Kelsey Miller, who made a century (116) for the visitors. Alice Hancock led the way with the ball, finishing with two for 35.
Chasing 242, we reached 8/208 from 50 overs. Kayla Robson passed fifty on the way to 52 off 69 balls with six fours and two sixes. Varada Vinay provided good support with 35.
Plenty to take out of this one.
Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
