There was no joy for our UTS North Sydney W2, who went down to Manly Warringah W2 in a disappointing result.
We posted 10/113, and Manly Warringah W2 7/172. Annabelle Croll was the main threat for the hosts, making 38. With the ball, Alice Hancock did the damage, claiming two for 23 off eight overs. Abigail Aitken finished with two for 26.
Sharon N Julien top-scored with 26 off 38 balls. Samantha Williams provided good support with 23. Our opponents' best with the ball was Elizabeth Cambridge (three for 11).
Not our day, but there's plenty to work with.
Congratulations to the hosts on the win.
