It was a disappointing outing for our UTS North Sydney 5th, who lost to Manly Warringah 5th by seven wickets at Mike Pawley.
Batting first, the side were all out for 137 in 38.1 overs. Max Palmer brought up a fine half-century, finishing with 50 off 73 balls. Five wickets for Zachary Buchanan of Manly Warringah 5th, who returned five for 12.
The hosts reached the target at 3/138 in 20.4 overs. The best of our opponents' batters was William Nasser with 35. Palmer was the pick of our bowlers with two for 43.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. Congratulations to the hosts on the win.
