It was a satisfying day for our UTS North Sydney 1st, who accounted for Sydney University 1st with a performance to be proud of.
Sydney University 1st made 10/340, and we made 386. Take a bow, Justin Avendano: a cracking 118 off 186 balls with twelve fours and four sixes. Jamieson Hedges passed fifty on the way to 99 off 133 balls with sixteen fours. Kieran Tate bowled cleverly for our opponents, a six-wicket haul of six for 90.
Hamish Reynolds returned figures of three for 66 off 10.3 overs. Fifty for Patrick Xie, who made 99 for the visitors. Tim Cummins made a polished 71 for our opponents, a well-deserved half-century.
Contributions came from right through the line-up.
Well done, team.
