It was one to learn from for our UTS North Sydney W3, who went down to Parramatta W3 by five wickets on Saturday.
We batted first and finished with 10/142 on the board from 35.2 overs. Kellyn Coetzee was still there at the end on 44 off 36 balls.
Parramatta W3 knocked off the runs, finishing on 5/146 in 22.1 overs. Zara Floody passed fifty for the visitors, finishing with 50. Aarini Mazumdar made 34 for our opponents. Evelyn McKay returned figures of three for 42 off eight overs.
There were some stylish individual efforts to build on. Plenty to work on, and plenty to like.
