It was a disappointing outing for our UTS North Sydney W3, who were unable to get the better of Gordon W3 in NSW Premier Cricket (Women's) action.
We ended on 10/88 and Gordon W3 on 4/141. Bernadette Robson led the way with 20 off 14 balls with three fours. Lara Jenns bowled well for the hosts, taking three for 12. Shavini Wijegunawardane weighed in with three for 14 for our opponents.
Emma Jane Loong made a stylish 51 for the hosts, a well-deserved half-century.
We'll take the lessons from this one and go again. Thanks to our opponents for the contest.
