Good news from our UTS North Sydney W3, who knocked over Sydney W3 at Oval 1.
We ended on 10/165 and Sydney W3 on 163. Credit to Kylie Hocknell, who made a half-century (57) for our opponents. The wickets were shared around, with Emma Leahy taking three for 15. Bernadette Robson finished with two for 10.
Anushka Dongre made a brilliant 55 not out off 83 balls, a well-made fifty. Heidi Gerber played a handy knock of 20. Sophie Busch was the pick of the hosts' bowlers with three for 27.
It was a brilliant all-round effort, with contributions from right through the line-up.
Congratulations to all involved.
